Ronit Jain

Ronit Jain is the CEO and co-founder of Pluto, a venture-backed technology startup developing financial markets for artificial intelligence infrastructure costs. The company, which previously operated under the name Strike, participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2025 cohort to accelerate its initial platform development. Under Jain's leadership, Pluto's regulated entity, PMEX Markets, officially filed for Designated Contract Market approval with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission on February 9, 2026. The firm is simultaneously pursuing PMEX Clearing approval to establish a fully integrated institutional trading ecosystem. Before founding Pluto, he conducted algorithmic trading research associated with early weather prediction markets at Kalshi, and he previously studied engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. Jain currently focuses on building regulated prediction market exchanges to help enterprises manage financial risk related to fluctuating GPU and compute pricing.
