Ronald Conway Sr.

Ronald Conway Sr. is the Founder and Managing Partner at SV Angel, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. He began his corporate career in marketing at National Semiconductor Corporation before co-founding Altos Computer Systems, where he served as President and CEO and led the enterprise to a Nasdaq initial public offering in 1982. Transitioning to venture capital in the late 1990s through Angel Investors LP, Conway established SV Angel to focus on seed and growth equity, successfully raising $269 million for the firm's inaugural growth fund in March 2022. His extensive investment portfolio includes early-stage financial backing for several prominent technology companies, such as Google, Airbnb, Stripe, Meta, and Coinbase. Today, Conway maintains a highly active investment approach targeting early-stage technology startups across the global internet, semiconductor, and artificial intelligence sectors.
