Ron Heinz

Ron Heinz is the Founder and General Partner of Signal Peak Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He currently manages over $500 million in committed capital, targeting enterprise software and SaaS companies with initial equity investments ranging from $3 million to $7 million. Before transitioning to venture capital, Heinz served as a Senior Vice President at Novell and held chief executive roles at multiple technology firms. His prior operational tenure includes serving as CEO of Phobos Corp., which was acquired by SonicWall for more than $250 million, and leading Helius Corp. until its acquisition by Hughes Network Systems. Educated at American University and Harvard University, Heinz leverages over three decades of information technology experience to provide board-level strategic leadership for emerging enterprise software companies located outside of Silicon Valley.
