Roman Zubenko

Roman Zubenko is the CEO and co-founder of Afternoon.co, a financial software platform based in New York City. Backed by Y Combinator, the company provides automated accounting, bookkeeping, and tax compliance tools tailored for eCommerce and artificial intelligence startups. Prior to this venture, Zubenko spent seven years in product and engineering roles, serving as a Growth Product Manager at Notion and a Product Manager at Gusto. During his tenure at Gusto, he engineered accounting tools and led the launch of personal finance products utilized by a portion of the platform's half a million small business customers. He also previously co-founded Nebo, a visual React builder that originally began as an autonomous robotics project for commercial cleaning. His career focuses on bridging software engineering and product management to build scalable financial technology solutions for early-stage founders.
