Roman Huber

Roman Huber is the Managing Director of Bayern Kapital GmbH, the venture capital investment arm of the Free State of Bavaria, based in Landshut, Germany. Operating as a specialized subsidiary of the state-owned LfA Förderbank Bayern, he oversees early-stage equity investments directed toward young, innovative high-tech startups operating within the regional economic ecosystem. Under his executive leadership, the investment firm has successfully deployed over 210 million euros in venture capital across approximately 235 companies, directly contributing to the creation of more than 5,000 local jobs. The organization's portfolio performance includes 16 initial public offerings and 24 trade sales to strategic corporate acquirers. Huber currently focuses his investment strategy on financing early-stage enterprises developing future technologies across specialized sectors, including life sciences, enterprise software, information technology, medical technology, nanotechnology, and environmental technology.
