Roman Gold

Roman Gold is the Managing Partner at VentureIsrael, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on deep technology and machine learning startups. Before establishing his current firm, he founded and led the investment platforms JSH and JSCapital, where he executed dozens of transactions and achieved several successful exits. Building on this track record, Gold launched the inaugural VentureIsrael fund in late 2020, which ultimately invested in 18 companies and ranked among the top ten most active Israeli venture capital funds by deal count out of more than 900 regional peers. He recently initiated VentureIsrael II to target early-stage investments across artificial intelligence infrastructure, cybersecurity, developer tools, and digital health. Gold currently focuses on allocating capital to Israeli deep tech enterprises, dedicating up to 30 percent of his portfolio to emerging future technologies like quantum computing and neuroscience.
