Rokas Peciulaitis is the Founder and Managing Partner of Contrarian Ventures, an early-stage climate tech venture capital firm based in Lithuania. He began his career as an inflation trader at Bank of America Merrill Lynch before transitioning to entrepreneurship and climate investing in 2016. Since establishing Contrarian Ventures in 2017, Peciulaitis has built a portfolio of 18 companies, leading the first institutional checks for startups like PVcase, BeZero Carbon, and Ember. Beyond direct investing, he serves as Chairman of the Lithuanian Venture Capital Association and co-founded ecosystem initiatives including the Energy Tech Summit. A Kauffman Fellow in Class #25, he holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Glasgow and completed an executive program at Harvard Business School. His current focus remains on deploying capital into early-stage energy technology and e-mobility ventures.
