Rohit Sethi

Rohit Sethi is the Managing Partner at Jazz Ventures, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Before transitioning to venture capital, he served as the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Zenefits from 2012 to 2016, leading product and engineering as the HR tech company reached a peak valuation of $4.5 billion. Earlier in his career, Sethi worked as a software engineer at Amazon and Microsoft, and he holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University. At Jazz Ventures, he recently raised a $100 million Fund III in 2024 to support a portfolio of over 50 companies, complementing his personal track record of more than 20 angel investments. Sethi currently focuses on seed and Series A investments across the enterprise software, human resources technology, and financial technology sectors.
