Roham Gharegozlou is a General Partner at Untold Ventures based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Before transitioning to venture capital, he co-founded and served as the CEO of Ludia, a mobile gaming studio acquired by FremantleMedia in 2017. Gharegozlou also co-founded and led Animoca Brands, scaling the digital gaming ecosystem to a valuation exceeding $5 billion during his executive tenure. At Untold Ventures, he manages over $100 million in assets under management and recently closed a $75 million second fund in March 2025 targeting AI and gaming crossovers. The University of Toronto computer science alumnus has directed investments into more than 20 early-stage startups, including leading a seed round for Pixelmon in January 2026. His current investment focus centers on seed and Series A opportunities across Web3 gaming, consumer internet, and the broader creator economy.
