Roger Kitterman is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Mass General Brigham Ventures and Vice President of Mass General Brigham Innovation in the Boston area. In these roles, he oversees a portfolio of 55 companies with over $450 million in assets under management and leads the commercialization of the health system's $2 billion in annual research output. Before establishing the venture arm in 2008, he served as a startup CEO for three venture-backed companies and began his investment career with the $55 million Bulgarian-American Enterprise Fund. He holds an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. His investment track record includes early-stage backing of life sciences firms such as Magenta Therapeutics and Verve Therapeutics. Kitterman focuses on early-stage healthcare venture capital, bridging academic medical research with commercial therapeutics and medical technology development.
