Rodrigo Teijeiro is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RecargaPay, a leading mobile payments and financial services platform currently based in São Paulo, Brazil. Prior to establishing this fintech enterprise in 2010, he launched the technology holding company Fnbox in 2002 and subsequently created the regional social network Sonico in 2007. Under his executive leadership, this Latin American social networking platform successfully scaled to reach 55 million registered users before being formally acquired by Match in August 2014. Teijeiro initially studied Economics at the University of San Andrés in his native Buenos Aires, where he began his entrepreneurial career by developing early internet ventures including the platform TarjetasTelefonicas. His current professional focus centers on advancing digital financial inclusion throughout Latin America by delivering accessible mobile payment infrastructure to millions of unbanked and underbanked consumers.
