Rodrigo J Prudencio

Rodrigo J Prudencio is the Managing Partner at Propeller, where he leads investment strategy and operations for the climate venture firm. Previously, he co-founded and led Amazon's $2 billion Climate Pledge Fund, directing capital toward decarbonization efforts to support the company's goal of reaching net-zero carbon by 2040. During his tenure at Amazon, Prudencio also helped manage the Alexa Fund and Accelerator, ultimately overseeing more than 40 investments across climate technology, voice AI, and ambient computing. His earlier career includes serving as a partner at Nth Power, an early energy technology venture capital fund, and working as a senior aide for the U.S. Department of State at the Kyoto Conference. With over two decades of experience spanning venture capital and public policy, Prudencio focuses on scaling startups in transportation electrification, aviation, and energy storage.
