Rodrigo Borges is a Brazilian venture capitalist who cofounded the comparison shopping service Buscapé in 1998, managing its investment rounds before its acquisition by Naspers for $342 million in 2009. Following this exit, he collaborated with Koolen & Partners starting in 2014 to back several Latin American startups that later achieved unicorn status, including Hotmart, Loggi, and Gympass. He currently serves as the cofounder and Managing Partner of the venture capital firm DOMO VC, which he established in 2016 to fund disruptive technology founders. His recent portfolio additions feature diverse enterprises such as the insurtechs Flix and 88i, alongside an active angel investing presence in companies like Neon and MarketUp. Borges holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of São Paulo and leverages his twenty years of experience to build innovative regional businesses.
