Roderick Verhelst

Roderick Verhelst is a Partner at Bioqube Ventures based in Brussels, Belgium, where he focuses on sourcing and financing early-stage therapeutic assets. Before joining the firm in 2022, he managed the formation and financing of life sciences startups at PMV, contributing to the exits of GST to Boehringer Ingelheim and Bluebee to Illumina. Earlier, Verhelst worked as an equity research analyst at Degroof Petercam, covering the European biotechnology sector and advising on initial public offerings. He currently holds five board director positions across the sector, including seats at Confo Therapeutics, miDiagnostics, and Temmune Therapeutics. He earned a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Leuven and an MBA from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management. Verhelst leverages over a decade of financial and scientific expertise to advance early-stage therapeutics and life sciences technologies.
