Robin van Boxsel

Robin van Boxsel is a Partner at FORWARD.one, a venture capital firm he joined in 2021. He began his professional career as a trader at IMC, advancing to become a Director in Amsterdam in 2007, where he recruited hundreds of staff members to expand the firm's operations. In 2008, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of IMC in Chicago, overseeing a team of 200 technology-focused employees and managing the development of complex hardware and software trading infrastructure. Following his tenure at IMC, he co-founded Independent View, a specialized hedge fund focused exclusively on executing quantitative stock trading strategies. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business from The Hague Business School. His current focus centers on leveraging his executive background in high-tech trading to evaluate and direct venture capital investments across the global technology sector.
