Robin Bade is a Partner at 9yards Capital, an early stage venture capital firm based in Berlin, Germany. Prior to the firm's rebranding in 2024, he cofounded and led investments at Point Nine Capital starting in 2012, where he managed over €200 million across multiple institutional funds. Throughout his venture career, Bade has executed more than 100 investments, backing prominent European technology unicorns such as Personio, Taxfix, and Omio. Before entering the venture capital sector, he gained operational experience in various technology startups and earned a degree in business administration from the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management. Beyond his direct portfolio work, he coauthored industry software investment reports in 2023 and maintains an active public presence. His current investment focus centers on early stage B2B software, developer tools, financial technology, and climate tech startups across the European ecosystem.
