Robertson Taylor is the Founder of Calltree, a Y Combinator-backed enterprise artificial intelligence startup based in the United States. Previously, he engineered machine learning models for high-cardinality anomaly detection at Amazon Web Services (AWS), successfully deploying these production-scale systems to Fortune 100 companies and several major commercial banks. Prior to his tenure at AWS, Taylor focused on applied multimodal artificial intelligence and vector search at Marqo, and he previously led platform engineering teams at Hopper. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Georgia Tech, where he gained early academic experience conducting high-performance computing research. Additionally, he presented findings on multimodal dense retrieval and generalized contrastive learning improvements at the Haystack EU 2024 conference.
