Roberto Zanco

Roberto Zanco is the Head of Illiquid Alternative Investments and a Board Member at Kairos Partners SGR, based in Milan, Italy. In this role, he oversees the development of illiquid investments and leads a €150 million venture capital fund targeting early and late-stage Italian startups. Before joining Kairos in 2021, Zanco gained private equity experience at Quadrivio Group and co-founded RedSeed Ventures in 2013, where he served as Managing Partner and completed eight investments. His broader career encompasses over 30 private equity and venture capital transactions, supported by an MBA from the University of Iowa and an economics degree from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Zanco currently focuses on ESG-compliant investments across B2B digital transformation, medtech, clean tech, and the new space economy, holding board seats at companies including Leaf Space and Braincontrol.
