Roberto Nicastro is a Milan-based banking executive currently serving as Senior Advisor for Europe at Cerberus Capital Management and Chairman of AideXa. He previously spent 18 years at UniCredit, culminating in his role as Group General Manager, and served as Chairman of Italy's four "Good Banks" from 2015 to 2017 on behalf of the Bank of Italy. Earlier in his career, Nicastro worked in mergers and acquisitions at Salomon Brothers and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. In 2020, he co-founded the small business challenger bank AideXa, securing a €48 million seed round from a consortium of institutional investors. Additionally, he holds minority equity stakes in several European technology startups, including Yapily, DoveVivo, and Talent Garden. Nicastro currently focuses his professional efforts on private equity advisory, fintech venture investments, and small business banking innovation.
