Roberto Velarde

Roberto Velarde is the Founder and Managing Partner of Iter Investments, a venture capital firm focused on mental health and alternative therapeutics. He brings over 25 years of experience in global private markets, having built and managed investment platforms across the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Through Iter Investments, Velarde oversees a portfolio that includes Nucleus Holdings, an entity designed to provide infrastructure and access to the broader mental health ecosystem. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University. Throughout his career, he has served as an active board member for numerous portfolio companies and participated on the investment committees of various private equity funds. Velarde currently focuses on deploying capital into early-stage companies developing psychedelic technologies and behavioral wellness solutions.
