Robert Schwartz is the Managing Partner of Third Point Ventures in Menlo Park, California, where he directs the technology-focused venture capital arm of Third Point LLC. Since assuming this role in June 2000, he has managed investments across enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and fintech, securing notable public market exits such as the cybersecurity firm SentinelOne. Additionally, he has overseen portfolio company acquisitions by major technology corporations including Alphabet and IBM. Schwartz currently serves on the board of directors for at least ten active portfolio companies, including Sysdig, Kentik, and Ushur. Before his two decades in venture capital, he spent 23 years as the President of RF Associates North, a communications semiconductor firm. He holds a multi-discipline engineering degree from the University of California at Berkeley and maintains a primary investment focus on deep technology and enterprise software.
