Robert Routley

Robert Routley is the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Private Markets at Acorn Capital, a specialist investment firm focused on emerging Australian companies across public and private markets. Since 2009, he has overseen the firm's private and venture investment program, directing capital into more than 55 private companies, guiding over 35 of them to successful liquidity events, and serving on portfolio boards including ImmVirx. Before joining Acorn Capital, he held senior investment management positions at Hambro-Grantham, Colonial First State Private Equity, and Baron Corporation. Routley is a Chartered Accountant who earned both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Melbourne. Drawing on over two decades of financial experience, his current investment focus centers on private markets, with a dedicated emphasis on the healthcare and biotechnology sectors.
