Robert Olson

Robert Olson is the Chief Operating Officer at PINATA, a task orchestration platform based in New York, USA. Previously, he served as a Partner and Head of Data Strategy at the venture capital firm M13, where he managed portfolio investments and sat on PINATA's board of directors. Earlier in his career, Olson founded the data team at DigitalOcean, helping to scale the high-growth SaaS business prior to its initial public offering. In February 2024, he transitioned to his current executive position to steer PINATA's expansion into artificial intelligence, while M13 Managing Partner Karl Alomar succeeded him on the board. Under his operational leadership, the company is developing a proprietary Large Action Model leveraging over five million user-sourced data points.
