Robert J. (Bob) Ciaruffoli

Robert J. (Bob) Ciaruffoli is an active investor and the elected Chair of Broad Street Angels based in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Before transitioning to early-stage venture investing, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of ConnectWise, an IT management software provider that was acquired by private equity firm Thoma Bravo in 2019. His earlier corporate career includes executive leadership positions at telecommunications giant AT&T, where he developed his foundational expertise in enterprise technology and finance. An alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Ciaruffoli has cultivated a professional network of over 5,000 connections and regularly participates in regional funding rounds. Through his leadership at Broad Street Angels, he has directed capital into more than 20 companies, maintaining a current focus on early-stage technology startups operating within the SaaS, cybersecurity, and enterprise software sectors.
