Robert Harper

Robert Harper is a Vice President at Enlightenment Capital, an aerospace, defense, and government technology private investment firm based in the Washington DC metropolitan area. In his current capacity, he evaluates and executes middle-market private equity transactions while managing a diverse portfolio of investments across the defense, intelligence, and government services sectors. Prior to joining Enlightenment Capital, he served as an Investment Banking Associate at KippsDeSanto and Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Capital One, advising aerospace and defense corporate clients on complex mergers and acquisitions. He began his professional career building foundational financial modeling and valuation expertise after earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Virginia. Harper currently focuses on deploying strategic capital into lower-middle-market government technology businesses to drive long-term growth, operational improvements, and successful market expansions.
