Robert Day

Robert Day is a Partner and Co-Founder at Spring Lane Capital, a private equity firm providing hybrid project capital for small-scale systems in the sustainable resources sector. He has been a private equity investor in cleantech since 2004 and previously worked as a consultant at Bain & Company, where he evaluated investments across the energy, utilities, and telecommunications industries. Earlier in his career, Day served in the Sustainable Enterprise Program at the World Resources Institute and co-authored a book on sustainable development. He authored the Cleantech Investing column on Greentech Media from 2005 to 2016 and currently serves on the board of the New England Clean Energy Council. Holding an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA from Swarthmore College, Day focuses his current investments on climate tech solutions across the food, water, energy, and transportation markets.
