Robert Brooks IV

Robert Brooks IV is the Managing Partner at Orado Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Prior to his transition into venture capital, he founded and exited a sales automation software company and held product management roles at several early-stage technology startups. At Orado Ventures, Brooks manages a portfolio of over 15 investments with two recent exits, recently leading a $2 million seed round for the artificial intelligence logistics startup FlowAI in March 2026. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio University and actively engages with the broader startup ecosystem as a mentor for Techstars and an event collaborator with Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). Brooks currently focuses on providing pre-seed and seed funding alongside go-to-market advisory services to founders building emerging technologies across the artificial intelligence, financial technology, and climate sectors.
