Robert Appleby

Robert Appleby is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Cibus Capital, a private equity firm based in London, United Kingdom. Prior to establishing this food and agribusiness investment platform, he spent over 23 years investing across Oceania, Asia, and Europe, notably serving as the Co-founder and joint-CIO of ADM Capital Hong Kong. His earlier financial career includes 13 years at Lehman Brothers, where he worked in fixed income sales and trading across London, New York, and Singapore as a department head, alongside holding senior positions at Crédit Agricole. Expanding his corporate governance roles, he was appointed as an independent non-executive director at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, effective in May 2025.
