Robby Peters

Robby Peters is the Co-founder and Managing Partner at SemperVirens Venture Capital, based in Lafayette, California. Before establishing the venture firm in 2018, he served as a Benefits Consultant at Sequoia Consulting Group and co-founded PeopleTech Partners, following earlier positions at Comcast Spotlight. At SemperVirens, Peters currently oversees more than $150 million in assets under management across a portfolio of 48 companies, writing initial checks ranging from $100,000 to $5 million for seed and Series A funding rounds. He recently helped close the firm's $177 million third core fund in January 2025, securing capital commitments from strategic corporate investors including ADP Ventures, MetLife, and Cigna. His current investment focus centers on early-stage workforce, healthcare, and financial technology startups, utilizing an advisory network of 200 Fortune 500 executives to accelerate portfolio go-to-market strategies and enterprise sales.
