Rob Wilmot is a General Partner at Episode 1 Ventures based in London, United Kingdom, where he focuses on seed and Series A investments in European technology startups. Before transitioning to venture capital, he co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Whitehat, a cybersecurity firm acquired by Sophos in 2015, and co-founded Egress Software, which achieved unicorn valuation status in 2022. The University of Cambridge computer science graduate has built a portfolio of more than twenty early-stage companies, recently leading a 2024 investment in the artificial intelligence compliance startup Regology.
