Rob Sprawson

Rob Sprawson is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Cambridge Innovation Capital, based in Cambridge, United Kingdom. He brings over 30 years of strategic and corporate finance experience, primarily operating in the life sciences, technology, and intellectual property commercialization sectors. Prior to this, Sprawson served as the CFO of the ophthalmic pharmaceutical company Altacor and as the CFO of Warwick Ventures. His earlier career includes a tenure as a Senior Manager in Corporate Finance at PwC, alongside financial leadership roles at an AIM-listed drug development firm and the University of Cambridge spin-out Lumora. He has held active director roles across multiple Cambridge Innovation Capital entities since 2016 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Sprawson currently focuses on providing financial oversight and advisory services to venture-backed technology firms.
