Rob Readnour

Rob Readnour is a Managing Director at Mountain Group Partners based in Nashville, Tennessee, where he leads investments in the animal health and life sciences sectors. Prior to venture capital, he spent 27 years at Elanco Animal Health in senior research and development roles, directing strategies for companion animal pharmaceuticals and vaccines. During his corporate tenure, he evaluated and integrated technologies from major acquisitions involving Novartis Animal Health, Lohmann Animal Health, and ChemGen. At Mountain Group Partners, which closed a $128 million third fund in 2022 and has backed over 60 companies, he currently serves as Executive Chairman of In the Bowl Animal Health and Chairman and CEO of Borah. Holding a doctorate in analytical chemistry from the University of Illinois, Readnour focuses on bridging operational drug development expertise with early-stage investing to advance disruptive technologies.
