Rob Eloff

Rob Eloff currently serves as the Managing Partner at Lateral Capital, a private investment firm focused on accelerating early- and growth-stage ventures. He began his professional career in capital markets at JP Morgan in Johannesburg before becoming an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs. Prior to his current leadership position, he also gained institutional experience working as an Investment Director. Eloff earned a Master's Degree in Finance from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Commerce in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Cape Town. Through his work at Lateral Capital, he structures both equity and debt financing for businesses operating across the commerce, human capital, and real asset sectors. His current investment focus centers on scaling technology companies throughout emerging markets, particularly within Sub-Saharan Africa, alongside targeted opportunities in the United States.
