Rob DeMillo

Rob DeMillo is the Chief Executive Officer of Sophia Space and a Venture Partner at seed-stage fund SparkLabs Global Ventures. Operating as a serial entrepreneur and technology executive since the 1990s, he has built nine distinct companies resulting in seven successful acquisitions and initial public offerings. His previous leadership roles include serving as the first Chief Technology Officer in the 80-year history of architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and acting as CTO of Discovery Digital Networks following Discovery's acquisition of Revision3. Furthermore, DeMillo founded Nimble Collective, a cloud-based digital media platform that was ultimately acquired by Amazon Web Services in early 2019. Recognized in 2012 alongside Jeff Bezos as a top digital media influencer, DeMillo currently focuses on pioneering orbital computing infrastructure and investing in early-stage artificial intelligence and secure cloud technology startups.
