Rob Bloemker

Rob Bloemker is an investor and co-founder at 1Sharpe Ventures based in Oakland, California. Alongside co-founder Gregor Watson, he established the early-stage venture capital firm in 2021 to target pre-seed to Series A property technology startups. The firm closed its oversubscribed $90 million inaugural fund in May 2022, writing initial checks between $500,000 and $2 million for a portfolio of thirty to forty early-stage companies. Prior to launching this venture fund, Bloemker accumulated nearly 30 years of experience investing over $8 billion across bonds, loans, and real estate assets. As a serial entrepreneur, he has co-founded nine different platforms throughout his career, including prominent industry entities such as Roofstock, Lessen, and Azibo. His current focus remains on deploying strategic capital into global proptech ventures that address real estate financial transactions, human capital, and data intelligence.
