Rob Adams

Rob Adams is a Managing Partner at Alumni Ventures and Director at Texas Venture Labs, based in Austin, Texas. In his current capacity, he leads Congress Avenue Ventures and Ring Ventures, targeting seed, Series A, and Series B investments ranging from $50,000 to $10 million across the marketing technology, e-commerce, and payments sectors. Throughout his career as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Adams has founded or financed more than 40 companies and served on numerous corporate boards. His previous operational experience includes serving as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Business Matters, which was successfully acquired, and working as an executive at Pervasive Software during its initial public offering. Holding degrees from Purdue University and Babson College, Adams focuses his current efforts on early-stage venture investing and commercialization within the University of Texas at Austin ecosystem.
