Rizwan Virk

Rizwan Virk is a Venture Partner at Griffin Gaming Partners and a Manager at Bayview Capital. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. As an entrepreneur and investor in the video game sector, Virk created the top-grossing mobile game Tap Fish and founded the Play Labs startup accelerator at MIT. His venture capital portfolio includes early investments in prominent technology and gaming companies such as Discord, Theta Labs, Tapjoy, Telltale Games, and Funzio. Additionally, he is the bestselling author of several books, including The Simulation Hypothesis. Virk is currently pursuing his doctoral degree at Arizona State University, focusing his research and professional efforts on virtual worlds, the metaverse, and technological innovation.
