Ritesh Patel

Ritesh Patel is the CEO and co-founder of The Ticket Fairy, an event ticketing and promotion platform based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Before launching the business in 2015, he worked as an engineer and event producer, gaining experience in software development and operations alongside organizations like Nimble and SXSW. Under his leadership, The Ticket Fairy has grown to power ticketing for more than 20,000 events annually across 30 different countries and secured venture funding from Blackbird Ventures. Patel recently expanded the ticketing platform into the US market in 2024 and guided the software to a milestone of 1M tickets sold during the first quarter of 2026. Leveraging his technical background and network from the University of Sydney, his current focus remains on scaling event technology solutions for independent music and event promoters globally.
