Rishi Mandawat

Rishi Mandawat is a Managing Director and Partner at Bain Capital Private Equity, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Since joining the firm in 2008, he has served on the Asia Pacific Private Equity team, directing investments across the financial services, industrial manufacturing, logistics, telecommunications, and media sectors. Prior to Bain Capital, he worked at McKinsey & Company in Delhi, providing strategic and operational consulting for clients in the electric power, energy, construction, retail, and automotive industries. Earlier in his career, he acted as a finance controller for two business units at ABB in India. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, a Bachelor of Commerce from Jodhpur University, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. His current focus centers on executing private equity transactions and driving operational improvements across the Asia Pacific region.
