Rishi Garg

Rishi Garg is a Venture Partner at Mayfield Fund, where he focuses on venture capital investments across new media platforms, disruptive financial services, and emerging digital marketplaces. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy at Twitter, leading the technology firm's most active mergers and acquisitions program. During his executive tenure, he directed the strategic acquisitions of several notable technology companies, including the live-streaming application Periscope, TellApart, and TapCommerce. Before joining Twitter, Garg operated as the first Head of Corporate Development at Square and founded the venture-backed ticketing search startup FanSnap. His earlier professional career includes strategic investment and financial advisory roles at Google, Highland Capital Partners, and Morgan Stanley. Today, Garg leverages his extensive background in corporate acquisitions and startup operations to identify, fund, and build early-stage technology companies.
