Risei Goto

Risei Goto is currently an Investment Manager at AP Ventures, where he focuses on venture capital investments in advanced technologies. In this role, he is responsible for deal sourcing, transaction execution, and supporting portfolio companies, while also managing the firm's strategic relationship with limited partner Sumitomo Corporation. Prior to joining AP Ventures, Goto conducted energy technology market research at Sumitomo Corporation of Americas and managed Asian equity portfolios at Ridgeworth Capital Management. He began his professional career working as a Financial Analyst at Hitachi Ltd. from 1994 to 1997. Goto holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sophia University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. A CFA charterholder, his current focus remains on leveraging his extensive background in equity portfolio management to drive deep tech and energy technology investments.
