Ridwan Olalere

Ridwan Olalere is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lemonade Finance, a financial technology company based in Lagos, Nigeria. Under his leadership, the cross-border payment and remittance platform has scaled to serve millions of users and secured more than $30 million in total funding, backed by prominent investor networks such as Y Combinator and Microtraction. Following a Series A round in 2022, Olalere directed the company's expansion into new African markets throughout 2024 and closed an additional funding round in the first quarter of 2025. Before establishing his current venture, he built his technical foundation by studying computer science and working in software engineering and product management roles within an African fintech ecosystem that includes peers like Flutterwave and Paystack. Olalere currently focuses on developing accessible payment infrastructure to advance financial inclusion across emerging markets.
