Rick Kushel

Rick Kushel is a General Partner at FINTOP Capital based in New York City, where he oversees early-stage investments in financial technology and enterprise software. Before joining the venture firm in 2022, he served as a Managing Director at Cross River Capital and held investment banking and technology roles at JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University and currently manages a venture portfolio of more than 20 active investments. In the third quarter of 2024, Kushel led a $15 million Series A funding round for a digital lending platform, and he recently published financial technology analysis in TechCrunch in January 2025. His professional background combines institutional finance experience with a current focus on funding the next generation of digital banking infrastructure and financial services.
