Rick Grinnell

Rick Grinnell is the Founder and Managing Partner of Glasswing Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He brings over 24 years of venture capital investment and operational experience to the firm, focusing primarily on artificial intelligence-enabled security, enterprise infrastructure, and software-as-a-service applications. Prior to establishing Glasswing Ventures, Grinnell served as a Managing Director at Fairhaven Capital and held senior marketing and engineering leadership positions at Adero, ClearOne Communications, and PictureTel. The 2000 Harvard Business School graduate currently serves on the corporate boards of several startups, including Allure Security and Black Kite. Additionally, he has overseen notable portfolio exits to major global technology corporations such as Dell, Elastic, and IBM. Grinnell's current professional focus remains centered on funding and scaling AI-native cybersecurity, cloud technology, and frontier technology startups across the enterprise sector.
