Rick Fink

Rick Fink is a co-founder and Managing Director at Miramar Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Southern California. Before transitioning to venture capital, he spent two decades as a partner at the national law firm Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, where he led a 250-attorney corporate practice group and chaired the firm's investment committee. He holds an undergraduate degree from Indiana University and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University. At Miramar, which has executed 72 investments to date, Fink has directed capital into technology startups such as Brilliant and eRelevance, while previously holding board seats at Coradiant, Starport Systems, and Tarari prior to its 2007 acquisition by LSI Corporation. His current investment focus centers on early and expansion-stage information technology companies operating across the communications, next-generation software, and wireless infrastructure sectors.
