Richard Song is the Co-Founder and CEO of Epsilla, an artificial intelligence infrastructure startup based in New York City. Backed by Y Combinator in the S23 cohort, Epsilla operates with fewer than ten employees and generates approximately $1.4 million in revenue by providing an all-in-one platform for building AI agents powered by private data. Before launching Epsilla, Song served as the Senior Director of Cloud Engineering at TigerGraph, where he developed database-as-a-service solutions and developer tools for the graph analytics platform. His earlier career includes software engineering roles at Facebook and Google, as well as co-founding the shopping technology venture Navo. Song holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science from Fudan University. His current focus centers on advancing generative AI infrastructure through high-performance, serverless vector databases.
