Richard Setterwall

Richard Setterwall is a Venture Partner at Piton Capital, a venture capital firm focused on network effects, and is currently based in Stockholm, Sweden. Before joining the investment sector, he founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of DogBuddy, building it into a leading European pet care marketplace with operations across multiple countries. Following DogBuddy's acquisition by the Seattle-based platform Rover in 2018, he transitioned to the role of General Manager for Europe, overseeing the combined entity's regional operations, integration, and market expansion. His earlier professional background includes strategic and operational roles at the digital entertainment company Modern Times Group, as well as management consulting experience at Ernst and Young.
