Richard Lim

Richard Lim is the Co-founder and Managing Director at GSR Ventures, where he focuses on early-stage artificial intelligence investments. He specializes in funding startups applying AI technologies to the healthcare, enterprise, and consumer sectors, acting as the initial institutional investor for several companies that later scaled into multi-billion-dollar revenue enterprises. Prior to establishing his current venture capital career, Lim operated as a serial entrepreneur and held executive management positions at Lotus Development Corp. and the National University Hospital of Singapore. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees from the National University of Singapore, followed by an MBA from Stanford University, where he graduated as an Arjay Miller Scholar. Lim currently leverages his combined medical training and corporate leadership experience to identify and support early-stage AI-driven healthcare and enterprise software platforms.
