Richard Godwin

Richard Godwin is the Founder and President of Space Technology Holdings LLC and a Venture Partner at Starbridge Venture Capital in Washington, D.C. As a founding member of the 2017-launched Starbridge fund, he targets seed and Series A investments across the space sector, contributing to a portfolio that includes Axiom Space, Commonwealth Fusion Systems, and Tierra Biosciences following its $11 million funding round. Previously, Godwin served as Chief Executive Officer of Zero Gravity Solutions Inc., developing commercial products aboard the International Space Station, and worked as a business consultant for Elon Musk on the SpaceX DragonLab program. He has also held board director positions at the National Space Society and the Space Frontier Foundation, while co-owning the technical publishing firm Apogee Books. His current focus centers on commercializing space-derived technologies for terrestrial applications in biotechnology, semiconductors, and national security.
