Rich Maloy

Rich Maloy is the Managing Partner at SpringTime Ventures, a micro-VC seed fund based in Boulder, Colorado. Promoted from Venture Partner in November 2021, he oversees a portfolio of over 30 investments, writing initial checks ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 for pre-seed and seed-stage technology startups across the United States and Canada. Before joining SpringTime Ventures, Maloy served as the North America Manager for the IBM Global Entrepreneur Program, where he onboarded more than 3,000 startups annually. His earlier career includes serving as Vice President of Engagement at Established and spending seven years in corporate finance, which featured managing financial reporting for a $1 billion division at News Corp. Alongside hosting the VC Minute podcast, Maloy currently focuses on backing early-stage B2B founders with deep domain expertise in sectors such as healthcare, financial technology, and logistics.
